I began using Comprehensive Meta‐Analysis while reading Lipsey & Wilson's (2001) Practical Meta‐Analysis and found it easy to transition from the conceptual and practical issues discussed in their text to the procedures available in your program. "I have been a satisfied user of Comprehensive Meta‐Analysis software for about two years. I find the software is easy to use and offers an extensive range of options for analysis. I like being able to toggle between fixed and random effects, and seeing the difference(s) between the two. I also find that the ability to evaluate symmetrical confidence intervals, and have non‐symmetry flagged, is a major advantage to the software. The automatic generation of funnel plots, which do not exist as an option in many scientific graphing packages, is particularly of value when discussing bias."
